Having first arrived in Carbondale in 1986 to attend Southern Illinois University, Kevin became one of those students who decided to stay and raise a family after graduation. In 2006, he became the Assistant City Manager for Economic Development and serves as the City’s appointment to the Chamber Board. Kevin and his wife Penny, a registered nurse in the OB Department at Memorial Hospital, have four children: Danielle, Jerrica, Kyle and Lauren.
