Steve Falat is the Market Manager of River Radio of Southern Illinois, a group of six (6) radio stations across the region. Steve is also the official Public Address Announcer for Southern Illinois University Athletics as well as for the Southern Illinois Miners professional baseball team in Marion. He can also be seen as Master of Ceremonies for many university, community and other charitable events. Steve is currently the Vice-President of the SIU Alumni Association Executive Board of Directors, a member of the SIU Alumni Association National Board of Directors, is a current member of the Rotary Club of Carbondale serving as its President in 2008-09, a member of the SIU College of Business Marketing Department External Advisory Board and is also on the SIH “Hope is Home” Steering Committee. Steve earned his undergraduate degree in Radio & Television from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and he and his wife Jolene are the parents of three daughters.
