Todd Darnstaedt is the owner of Today’s Technology Auto Repair. He began his career in the auto industry in Nashville Tennessee from the Nashville Auto Diesel College in 1987. His first job was serving with Army National Guard for 6 years as a light wheel vehicle 
mechanic. In 1993, he earned his private pilot license from Belleville Area College. From 1994-2001, Todd worked as Journeyman Technician at General Motors dealership in St. Louis, Missouri, before moving on to a service advisory position with Vic Koenig Chevrolet until 2003. Over the next three years, Todd gained experience in import and Cadillac repair at Ike Auto Park and Auffenberg Cadillac. Then, in 2006, he teamed up with Mark Chaney, and with the help of the Small Business Incubator, started Today’s Technology Auto Repair.
Since ground breaking at his new business, Todd has been actively joining organizations to ensure his business is held to the highest of standards. Today’s Technology Auto Repair is a member of Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, Napa Auto Care Association, Little Egypt Networking Association, National Federation of Independent Businesses and Small Business Association.
Todd recently expanded his business to 1235 East Walnut Street in Carbondale. He is married to Kimberly Darnstaedt, celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary this year. They have two children, Blake age 10, and Alexis age 12.
