Ambassadors Committee
The Ambassadors Committee is the Chamber’s largest committee. Its members represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings and Business After Hours events. This Committee promotes business in Carbondale in various ways.
The subcommittees of the Ambassador Committee are active in Chamber of Commerce event planning. These subcommittees include: Annual Banquet, Membership, Special Events, Fun Day, and Program. Currently, the Ambassadors Committee meets on the third Tuesday of the month at noon at the Chamber office. Other meetings are scheduled as needed according to events. - The Annual Banquet Committee plans the January awards banquet.
- The Membership Committee focuses on member recruitment and retention, plans membership drives, and assists in identifying member needs, concerns and satisfaction.
- The Special Events Committee works on varied standing, new, or one-time events.
- The Fun Day Committee coordinates the annual golf outing on the first Friday of June.
- The Program Committee assists in scheduling the monthly member luncheon speakers and workshops. They provide input for regional programs.
