WEEKLY CHAMBER CONNECTIONS EMAIL: FREE!
Every Thursday, our weekly newsletter style email is sent to a mailing list of more than 1500 business owners, managers, civic leaders, decision makers, and potential clients and customers. The email includes chamber events, opportunities and promotions, plus a list of upcoming events hosted by our members, job openings, press releases from area businesses and member-to-member deals. A feature of this email is the “Bulletin Board,” a collection of fliers submitted by members, displayed in a thumbnail image (linked to an events page or business website) prominently highlighting special events and promotions.

INDIVIDUAL EMAIL BLASTS
Information about your event, promotion or service is sent to hundreds of Chamber members—the owners, managers and leaders in area businesses, organizations, civic groups and churches—as a stand-alone email message. Our goal is to send email blasts out within 24 hours of submission, though this may be impacted by our calendar of already scheduled emails, and/or time required to complete requested design elements. 

Introductory Individual Email Blast: FREE!
New Chamber members are entitiled to a FREE email blast to introduce themselves as part of their welcome package. 

Standard Individual Email Blast: $49
Members can submit completed materials, images, links, and other items for inclusion. 

Basic Template Individual Email Blast: +$5
Don't have materials designed, but have information to share? No problem! For an additional $5, we can place your details into a standard template featuring your logo and any images you'd like to provide.

Custom Designed Email Blast: +$20
Submit the same details and images, and we'll do the design! We'll create an email flier for you, and send you the result for review and revision. Initial $20 add on includes one revision; additional revisions will incur an additional fee.

ANNUAL BANQUET : Sponsorship prices vary by sponsorship level
The Annual Banquet is the Chamber’s signature event recognizing leaders and accomplishments from throughout the community. Each year’s catered dinner and special event attracts hundreds of community and business leaders. A variety of sponsorship levels are available. The 2024 Annual Banquet is scheduled for February 21, 2025.

ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE : $100 and Up
Known for years as an excellent day out, the Chamber’s annual golf scramble gives business leaders an opportunity to enjoy a day on the links while making new connections and renewing previous ones. The event includes raffles, on-course contests and more. A number of sponsorships area available and most include an option to have business representatives at the tee boxes to interact with participants.

RECEPTIONS AND SPECIAL EVENTS : Sponsorship prices vary by event
Throughout the year, unique events and opportunities arise allowing businesses to partner with the Chamber on special causes and events ranging from receptions at SIU athletic events, cultural performances and more. Call the Chamber for upcoming opportunities.

MONTHLY LUNCHEONS : $250
Reach a captive audience at one of our Monthly Membership Luncheons. Your business is on display with up to ten minutes on the luncheon stage, printed materials on the tables, a full page ad in the digital luncheon program, marketing in advance of the luncheon on social media and in our weekly emails, as well as an individual email blast highlighting your business as our luncheon sponsor. Sponsorship includes two luncheon tickets.

RIBBON CUTTINGS : FREE
Announce your new business, location or services with a Ribbon Cutting. We bring the big scissors, ribbon and a crowd to learn more about your business. We promote the event through a variety of channels and invite the media, Chamber members, city officials and the public to celebrate with you!

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS : FREE
Reach other business people with a social hour at your business. Share your products and services in a very casual, informal way. While there is no cost to book a Business After Hours, successful hosts find that providing food and drinks adds to the event.

SALUKI STAY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM : Sponsorship prices vary
The Saluki Stay Scholarship is the most unique scholarship at Southern Illinois University. Five returning students who meet the award criteria (high GPA, at least two years at SIU, financial need and employed by a Carbondale Chamber member) are presented with in-kind gifts ranging from restaurant gift cards aid haircuts to grocery store gift certificates and $250 to use toward the purchase of text books. Some even receive a month of free rent. Dozens of Chamber members contribute cash and prizes to the scholarship.
